Israeli collaboration software company Monday.com has opened a new office in London and selected it as its European headquarters. The cloud-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) company will also double its headcount in the capital.
The move comes as the company tripled its revenue in the UK compared to 2020 and surpassed over 13,000 UK customers.
“The expansion in the UK market is another key phase in Monday.com’s continued growth, and marks the company’s first office directly serving the European market,” said Will Hale, northern European leader at Monday.com.
Headquartered in Tel Aviv, Monday.com describes itself as a cloud-based “work operating system”, or work OS, in which teams create workflow apps in minutes to run their processes, projects and everyday work.
It counts companies such as Uber, PayPal and Marriott Hotel among its customers.
Monday.com set to double London workforce
Earlier this year it listed on the US Nasdaq stock exchange in an IPO that valued it at $7.5bn.
Capitalising on the momentum of its public listing, Monday.com plans to double its workforce in Fitzrovia, London, in the next 12 months. The company is currently hiring for roles including IT, consulting, marketing and partnerships, along with alliances.
The company eyes global expansion by localising its platform and providing customers with a flexible and adaptable work OS.
Additionally, the company is creating its partner infrastructure and fostering a self-sufficient ecosystem underpinned by strategic partnerships in the UK.

To date, the Tel Aviv company has partnered with over 85 channel partners operating in over 45 countries across the globe.
Monday.com is already working with local partners such as Provident CRM and Enable Services and plans to grow its UK channel partnerships in 2022 by 70%.
